After choosing aircraft & airport......nothing happens

Am sure this has been reported ad nauseum, however I personally had not experienced it continuously until today. I went through the process of selecting a aircraft, then location, and then zippitydoodah happens. The map centers way above the airport, but never goes any further. I tried choosing different aircraft and airport with zero effect.

The sim itself loads fast for me than 2020, but after that, this is nuts. NC

Give it time. Sometimes it seems to take a lot longer than it should and other time it spins down to the aircraft pretty quickly. I think it might have something to do with the complexity of the scenery in the area of the airport. I also seem to see that it might also have to do with whether or not the airport and or the aircraft are native 2024 or not, if you are using add-ons of the two.

If it never loads, that may indicate that you have some conflicting or non-2024 compliant something or other installed. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I have found that a single non-compliant aircraft texture can cause the entire sim to hang at the very moment you are talking about.

Thank you for the suggestions. Next attempt I will go do something else for a bit, and return, hoping all is ready! 😂

This is exactly what has been plaguing me today and there does not seem to be any solution I can find or try to work around it.
