I forgot that he was deemed to be a veteran 10 years ago by Congress, even though he never officially served. I think it was well deserved endowment. He often went to very dangerous places, sometimes by himself, just to entertain the troops. He was always very dedicated to service people and keeping the morale up. He sometimes missed the big holidays with his family to be there with service men who couldn't be home themselves. He was great at what he did. A stamp is just a small, yet fitting tribute to a rather large, giving person.
