AH FS9 Bristol Bulldog

Thank you both, and also for the accidental link for the Hurricane, which is also in my restored FS9.

I saw the last Bulldog on what must have been one of its very last flights at Farnborough the day before it crashed.

Wow, that must have been a scary experience!

Parts for the Bulldog which crashed in 1964 were used for the aircraft which is now on display in the Hendon museum. Which was subject of one of my repaints. Exactly like the aircraft which crashed at Farnborough, the aircraft currently on display is painted a Bulldog of B Flight, No.56 (Fighter) Squadron, RAF North Weald in 1933, what was regularly flown by Sgt. Leslie Stephen Holman, who later became Wing Commander. It even wears the same registration number (K-2227).

AH Bristol Bulldog Swedish Air Force 1931

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military skins - World War II

Description: This is a repaint for the ex-payware Aeroplane Heaven Bristol Bulldog for FS2004. The repaint depicts a Bristol J7 from the Swedish Air Force. Developed from a private venture of 1927, the Bristol Bulldog was to see service in several variants around the world. Sweden bought 11 of the type, giving it the designation of J7. It was not a successful design in Swedish service with nine of the type being lost in accidents, the other two being donated to the Finnish Air Force in the late 1939. This repaint is based on a painting by Roger H. Middlebrook.

Enjoy,

For those who haven't seen it...... The new FSX/P3D version of the Bulldog!

I'm very interested in the FSX version of the Bulldog! Is it available? MCX magic at play here? Your repaints look great Huub! I really would love to fly around with your 1931 Swedish AF repaint...

As this is the FS2004 forum, the repaints shown are for the unsupported FS2004 model. As Pete already said Aeroplane Heaven has a reasonably new FSX model from the Bulldog. I have this model as well and you, and personally I think it is a stunning model. You can really see that there is 15 years difference in the age of the model.

And when you want to fly a Swedish livery you are lucky as this is included as well.

Cheers,
Huub

Thanks for the Great re-paints

HI Huub Ive just downloaded several of your great re-paints for this plane Thanks for your hard work jim

No MCX magic or stuff like that, if you want the FSX version it's payware from Aeroplane Heaven. Ttfn. Pete

Thanks for feedback, I understand completely your point. But since the release of FS2020, there is not much happening in FSX. That's why I'm 'fishing' around in the FS9 and P3D forums for "portable" freeware aircrafts to play with my old laptop (MSI GS60). Steve DX10 Fixer and Toolbox usually let me fly with a FS9 aircraft in FSX with very little or no hacks at all. MCX is way much more trouble, especially with props... So I was hopping to try this nice ex-payware FS9 Bulldog "as is"...
