AH Hurricane question

Guys --

Was there more than one version of the AH Hurricane uploaded to SOH? I have dowloaded some skin packs whose textures don't seem to be named in such a way as to replace anything.

What gives? :kilroy:

There is an older CFS 2 AH Hurricane from the early days of CFS 2. I still use this one for AI aircraft quite a bit.

The FS 9 conversion is of course not able to use repaints from this older plane. It the readme file doesn't specify which Hurricane the textures are for, then compare them with your version. If the titles of the files match those in your texture file, then they will work on yours. If not, then they are for the other version.

I ended up going through most of my texture files for the AH Hurricanes and seperating them into V1 and V2 folders after looking at their .bmp titles.
 
I was in the same situation just a few weeks ago.

Sopwith Chameleon kindly pointed me in the right direction: this is an older AH Hurri. You can find a MkIIc in the 1% planes available in Netwings. If you need a MkI or a MkIIb he sent them to me, so just send me a PM with an e-mail address and I'll send them ASAP.
 
Don't forget Thicko's Hurracanes. They're available here in the library and they are really about as good as it gets. He's covered most of the models and there are lots of various textures available for them.
 
Nope, I haven't forgotten Thicko's Hurricanes. They ARE great.

It's just that the Hurri is my favorite RAF single-seater. I want all that I can get into my hangar.

BTW, does anyone have the model Hurricane_1early that they could send to me?
