Skin for Aeroplane Heavens great Me109E, an E4 of Oberleutnant Franz von Werra Grupen-Adjutant II./JG3, Samer, August 1940.

My sources indicate the RLM71/02 and 65 colors. The aircraft has a white cowl and rudder and the victory markings on the stabalizer instead of the rudder. This aircraft was forced down near Kent on 5 September by Australian Ace Pat Hughes. Von Werra was sent to Canada as a POW but escaped and made it back to Germany to fly again.
