Welp came back home to Cfs2 started makeing a new hangar, bought a new B-17 from the ol out house here, and loaded up the sim for a days worth of flying and I throw in my old cfs2 sun i made a long time ago and then i load up good ol cfs2 and im looking at this... sigh... life is so wonderfull.
Pretty hard to beat ol cfs2.
Good peeps, good planes, dam good ol sim!

Do you have fsx,it has this sun.

I made this one but my friends just use the fsx one, I dont know how they do it cause i never tried. If not i will up load this one to you.

Oh yeah, I've got FSX - I think I have bought just about every flight sim that has ever been made - and that's one that's still on my HD!

I only have CFS2 (well have CFS3 collecting dust some where) and would love to have that sun bmp. That is the best sun I have seen bar none!

OK, I put in all - 3 I think, of the FSX sun BMPs. But how did you get the lens flare? All sliders are maxed, and all hardware options checked...

Im gonna ask my friend Lawrence how he did it, I think you have to check something on in one of the world dlls.
I will find out. He made mine work.

ok it sound slike you need to edit the cfs2 config file, replace 5 bmps, and do some work on the efffects file, and you need the sun dll from fsx to... He is going to write me a tutorial on it this week then i wil lpost how to do it.

I found all of the files he was talking about. But decompileing a dll or something is out of my realm for now. i have to rely on Lawrence he is a c++programer so he figgered it all out.

if all else fails the only other thing i coulddo is package up my cfs2 and send it to you on a dvd...lol!

That would probably burn ut my dvd burner...hehe
