In the Tuskegee P-47 Italy missions,my AI are flying into combat with gear down. Not sure if it makes any difference, but can I fix it?

Hi Highpockets,
there can be several reasons. One to try is to make sure you give enough time after takeoff for all the flight to get up and get their gear up, before you wit Warp. Otherwise your wingmen won't be of much help in a dogfight!

Absolutely Dai', this is one of the many CFS3 bugs.

Well , I tried to fly for a while before warping, and my flight 's gear was still down.:redf:

Are you sure that you are not talking about Stukas? 
Seriously, does those AI are your wingmen or do they belong to other flights?
What I recommend is to edit mission file: change first waypoint from takeoff to turn for flights that cause trouble. Don't forget to change also altitude and speed. You can do this with mission builder also.
