Aim It

Believe it or not I've never used "Aim It". To all the guru's out there that use it I have a couple questions before I try it out. Does it work on any aircraft with a fwd firing gun that I've downloaded?
I've noticed that the default settings on "Aim It" are "900 feet Range", "1 foot Elevation". Have you found those settings work pretty good or do you change them to something that works better? I know it boils down to personnel preference but I was just curious. Thanks.

I just left it at the default. Some purists will have you researching the ballistic characteristics of each gun for each aircraft If that is what you feel up to....otherwise it's a preference. Just keep in mind that sometimes tweaking can have you muttering "Aimit " with a "D" sound in front!

At 900 feet distance the bullet drops 1 foot?
