    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Strategic Air Command is on Turner Classic Movies right now....just caught it while skipping my usual channels...

As my father piloted KC97's in SAC, one of my favorite scenes is when he gets refueled by one. Neat 'stuff'.
 
The full B-47 cockpit model they used for filming is up at the March Field museum. You can touch it all.

Made me pull out the freeware B-47 and finish the flight dynamics update. Couldn't get true 4-point gear contacts as then the wing gear wouldn't retract so managed a convincing 3-point arrangement. Only the dust on rolling gives it away.
Also caught a B-45 Tornado in the background in one movie sequence and sure enough there was one to DL. Could use a texture upgrade but the dynamics are better now.
