• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A very useful, now somewhat ancient program. I found my (ancient) copy hiding on one of my hard drives and tried to install it on my mainframe with XP... no soap, on my new Windows 7 machine... no soap, on my spare laptop with Vista... works great!!!

Why the #$&^%????

I run it on the old desktop with vista 32, but it won't run on the newer flightsim desktop with vista 64. Happily it's easy to copy files back and forth thru the network local. If ever a magic flightsim fairey appeared and granted me one flightsim wish....it'd be an update for ACM. I'd even sprinkle the developer with cash.

I was once looking at an Ito plane that had unbelievable handling (bad) with ACM and found the virtual and visual planes more than 10 feet off.

I can understand that it desn't work in 7. However why it won't install in XP, in which it worked before, I have no idea. I also do the seakerware shuffle to get the files back and forth.

Cheers: T
