Aircraft Exterior Lights Not Working

Hello Folks:

Has anyone had trouble with aircraft exterior lights not working?

Seems all of a sudden each aircraft I load up has a different issue. For example, on the Carenado C135 the rotating beacon doesn't light, on the Iris BD-5 no exterior lights will come on at all, but the deafult Maule seems to be fine.

I can't think of anything new I've installed or any messing with files other than adding some repaints. I've tried letting FSX rebuild the fsx.cfg file, checked and double checked in-game settings, started and restarted FSX, started and restarted the computer, and searched the forum, but haven't come up with anything that seems to address this.

Everything else in game seems to be working fine.

I hate to think of having to do a full reinstall, over such a minor (but annoying) thing as this.

I'd be greatful for any help or redirects to forum threads already dealing with the issue.
