Aircraft Factory Avro Anson MkI is released!

In this forced break of SOH I did some new repaints. Now for A2A's Anson (early v.).

wow those are nice..i dont even have the plane yet,but im downloading now so i dont miss place them.....

Not 'blaming', but we couldn't stop development anymore..... too much time was spent already and it is our living :02.47-tranquillity:

So even if a developer does NOT inform his customers of planned developments - which now seems tempting - these things can still happen. Would the chance be reduced? I wonder......

along this line of thinking, its true that competition is good, but i see nothing wrong with more than one choice of an airplane for our hobby, myself i will own both this A2A anson and also the FSaddon version.
think back to a few years ago when the hobby was flooded with P-51s and Me109s...seems that those were the only choices for awhile (yes that IS an exaggeration)

I agree!! Both Avros will be in my hanger as well. Haven't seen a plane yet from either FSaddon or A2A that I didn't buy.

Very nice repaints YoYo! You make it very hard not to buy this one. But I told myself to wait until the FSAddon version is released as well so I can compare both versions.

Cheers,

I actually told you about 2hrs after your first post about it here when you said you'd "just started" and where asking for pictures, whilst ours was already in beta testing :) But if Simon is doing all the models you've said the packages will be completely different anyway :)

As a beta tester on the FSAddon Anson I can tell you that from the screenshots I have seen of the Aircraft Factory Anson there are many differences. When my finances look a bit better I will have both versions in my hangar.

I do not know if I have done something wrong in the installation, but the lights outside the aircraft, navigation and beacons, seem to come out from the wings and fuselage, there is no no lamp visible , perhaps missing some files from the texture.
Any other else noticed this?

A marvelous and welcomed addition the Flight Simulation community. This aircraft served as a bomber and as a trainer. It was built from 1938 to 1952. It almost rivaled the DC-3, whose production was more than 16,000. The Anson's were over 11,000 being built. A truly great aircraft. A2A is to be commended in their choice of aircraft. The price is reasonable. Even us retired guys can afford it.

no floating lights, my problem is that, where are the lights on the exterior of the aircraft model there is no lamp.Practically there are only the lighting effects that seem to come out from the body of the aircraft. the only lights that also have a lamp are the landing lights and that on the nose.
My English is not very good, I hope to be able to explain

Maury

now now Francois :)

The lights are being added to the textures and will be included in the patch thats in the works.

no, we didnt rush it, it was ready for release, but unlike yourself i dont belive in posting screenshots of our products in an other dev's thread.

:wavey:
