Let me start off by saying Phase 3 is outstanding!:jump: I was wondering is there any way to view the skins you guys created by aircraft? I see the listing in the campaign manager is extensive. In order to see the skins must we select a new one each flight? Thank You for all your hard work.

Aww c'mon Eski. Thats the beauty of it. You could fly missions for years and never see all the skins. At least thats the way Im looking at it. I get pretty excited the first time I fight against a new squadron. Its hard to fight them and oogle at their beautiful paint jobs at the same time.

Hi Eski,

Thanks for the kind words and support.

You can see skin files of dds files in photoshop, but you need to install plug-in that support dds files in photoshop. That is free somewhere in internet.

You can also look plane models in 3dview program that is actually in the cfs3.

to do following you have to copy CFS3.exe in off folder and make shortcut

rename the CFS3.exe to m3dview

then rightclick the button of mouse over the cfs3.exe

write in the "target" C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields\CFS3.exe" -m3dview

now you can look all models. The models you see use default skins so if you want see some specific ace skin you have to replace the default skin by ace skin. Remember to make safecopy of the default first.

Hope this help you.

Another utility to view the skin DDS files is 'Infranview' (search web for home site).

However, you'll only see the skin template, not how it looks wrapped onto the aircraft in 3D.

In the games folders - Campaign/campaign data/Skins - you'll see all of the DDS files. Use Infranview to open a skin then you can scroll through the rest.
