I really like that kind of work! Reminds me directly of SkyCaptain!

Though i fail to see the use of KC-10's to refuel the beast while she could as well carry drop-tanks the size of these KC-10's :ernae:

But what a nice piece of art this picture is! :guinness:

Is it weird that what really grabs me and makes me say "Cool" about that picture is that the KC-10's are in a World War II USAAF-esque OD-with-gray-undersides paint scheme?
 
As well as a Sea Fury ...I would like to see a top notch Cessna 185, Yak-52 (although Alphasim are onto that) and a P-40E and/or N
 
Yes. Its from Ace Combat 6, and that thing was a PAIN to shoot down. Great game I thought (even though its not a sim, it had a great story) and had some outstanding artwork and cinematic. I would be all over #7 if they make it.

7 is on the way because they are dropping 6 for the PS3 in favor of just developing 7. :angryfir: I was really looking forward to AC6 for the PS3 because it was planned to be more in-depth and further developed from AC6 for the 360 Right now I really want a native Northrop N9M or a Rafale or Etendard.

the KC-10's are painted in a scheme the USAF Actually trialled called 'schamu', and was trialled around '91/92, nice looking P-40 Winjeel :applause:

A Stearman, that it may be not, young grasshopper, but a double wing and Wright thát it has. It is often mistaken for a Stearman Kaydet.

Not having seen mentioned here, not surprisingly, as i had never even heard of it before i got involved with the MAAM a couple years ago, but we think there might be a couple of sailors around here who will appreciate this little tweetie bird. She floats too you know.
