Airplaine not showing up in game

I have a couple of planes that do not show up when I go to play a mission.
The mission is 354FG 12-1-43 first mission and the plane is fdg2_P-51b_talbot

The question is how do I get the plane to show up in the mission?
What do I need to do to the air file or something else?:pop4:

Do you have the same aircraft name in your Aircraft.cfg file and in the mission MIS file ?

Example of A/C name in the MIS file
[unit_type.1]
type_id=3828
unit_family=2
name=G4M2_BETTY

Example of A/C name in the aircraft.cfg
[fltsim.0]
title=SG_Betty
sim=SG_Betty
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=

In this case, different names, A/C will not show, so needs to be corrected. Can be the solution...

You may also check that the aircrtaft.cfg has the right extention. The use of the utility " mk_cfs2_util.exe " changes it to *.cgf. In this case, the aircraft would not work.

and of course for those who don't know...

Make sure the aircraft's sound.cfg is not aliased to an aircraft you don't have in your active hangar (AIRCRAFT folder). :running:

Shadow Wolf 07,

That's true; the Spitfires and Mosquito by Bruno by the archive both had that habit. :mixedsmi:
