Airport gates not listed

I have an add-on for Bangor International which has a whole lot of gates showing up in ADE, but not all showing up in the dropdown list in Go to Airport.

What determines which gates will show up in the dropdown when selecting an airport?

In ADE, the gates have different colors, but I cannot find anywhere the significance of those colors.

Hi,

All gates/parking should show up in the Go To Airport menu, AFAIK. The different colors mean that they have different ATC airline codes assigned to the spots.

Hope this helps,

What Tom said, if its in ADE/AFX/AFcad and you've installed/saved to the correct location, then they should be in the sim. If not, you need to check and double check you install/save paths.

Thanks, gents.
I'll start and go through by the numbers and see what I might have overlooked.

Not at all sure what I'm doing, but it IS useful to know that the gates should be showing up, and that it is not some arcane FS9 thingy that makes them somehow arbitrary.

If you use AFCAD, there's a file in the program's folder called ParkingSpecs.txt that contains the info that generates those colors. You can easily edit that with Notepad to add your own. The first part of each line is the airline name, then RGB #'s for the parking spot color, then the airline abbreviation. I'd imagine there's a similar file for ADE.

Thanks Tom. I have discovered the readme file for AFCAD, now, and have actually sat down to read it. I think the problem may be in how the designer of the addon did the spaces, since other, stock airports perform precisely as described in the above posts.

I know, ****...(lol)
