• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Airports: SummerTextures/Alpha 1

OBIO got me started. I got to thinking and am making an attempt.
...These are enhanced summer textures for all default airports. Don't look at anything outside the boundaries of the airport itself.
....I understand there's too much repetitious patterning. It will get dealt with.
This is stage Alpha. It might go further. Then again, it may not.

...Also, if you're going to give feedback, I would appreciate screenshots.

Now if I can figure out what texture the golf courses are on, that's my next move. Does anyone know?
 
The first post with the file attached were bad. They're looking better I feel. Only problem is, my edits make Ground Environment Pro look sickly and appearing to lack color.

I personally like the view of all the default airports much better now that I've enhanced them
....I'll put this topic to pasture seeing that there are 110 views/zero comments.

My first look at the thread as from the title I had no idea what it was about, nowif you'd called it 'getting rid of those horrid sickly textures around default airports and the furtherment of such, etc, etc.' I would of definitely read earlier and responded. Heck, your in luck, just building a 'test centre' install of the niner, no better place to try them out.

Is the link in the first post good to go now?

Golf course texture

is 135b2sp1, 135b2su1, 135b2fa1 etc. also in scenery/world/texture.

You know something, I realized that my textures disappear. I've got ground environment pro installed so they disappear on each set change. They still look good though.

And Sasha, thank you. I was going nutty opening and closing textures!!
 
Oleboy,

tried the link, took me to some file share host,links from which took me all over the joint. Still didn't find the file. Doesn't matter at the moment, I've broken my test install and can't even launch a flight. Major downer is now my other installs don't work either, can't even fly!! Spent all night pulling my hair out!!
