Does anyone else have this? I downloaded and installed the demo, and I have no clue how to access any of it's features. There are no missions or saved flights.

This demo is not selling itself to me at all. It installed a missing link to the manual, and once I figured out where it is (NOT in sim) it has the single most user unfriendly interface I've ever seen. As far as I can tell, it does nothing beyond evaluate flights, which is frustrating because the box makes it look as if you can fly with the red arrows or something.

A product that does let you do this, with the Patrouille Suisse, is http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,5484992190,10158. I haven't tried it, and I would want to read some reviews, but this might be what you're looking for.

Another way to achieve something similar would be to build up the show in layers, using FSRecorder, and then fly with the replay. Actually, this would be a very popular freeware, especially if you used a popular aircraft (such as the Lotus L-39 or Acceleration F/A-18).

If running with the most recent version of FS-Recorder, these would need to be converted, using the converter program http://www.fs-recorder.net.

FS2004 Formation Flying Flights. Includes five flights to practice your formation flying using Matthias Neusinger's flight recording add-on. The recorder enables you to record a flight and fly as "number two" (or any number of positions) in playback so that you can practice formation flying and aerobatics. Also requires Emma Field scenery. Aircraft used are Christen Eagle (LICEAGII.ZIP and RYLFLUSH.ZIP). By Chris Brisland.[/SIZE]

I've done a bit of work with FSRecorder myself, but thanks for the suggestions.

I also bought the Patruille Suisse addon last year. It's great and bad, but worth getting if you're a fan of theirs. There is a steep learning curve and you'd better speak Swiss because that's how your formation commands are coming out. The formations are a little stiff and you'll be the only plane moving. You have to memorize the whole routine and then have a really fast computer and trackIR to even begine to use the patruille suisse addon effectively. I don't, but I still enjoy the aircraft and scenery and watching the AI do an entire routine.

Here is one of my FSRecorder shots:
