Hey all, this is a pretty cool airtanker video staring the 802's from Spain, they show both wheeled and float planes AT-802F..i dont care for the music on youtubes in general..but its not so bad on this one..i wish we had a true FSX updated airtractor ...i never could get the ones we had in FS9 ..or was it the earlier version..which might explain why i couldnt get it to work?

Nice vid, Dave !

Utterly overlooked option to make FSX more exiting.

Forest fire in your vicinity. Scramble to a lake or river nearby. Scoop water. Find the fire. Drop your load. Repeat until fire is out. Get a score.

I have always wondered why this seems so difficult to achieve....

if i were wealthy,a pilot, and had lots and lots of free time..id order a AT-802,maybe the 2 seater, and since its not a working plane, and wont have any spray gear or hopper, nor the retardant tank..id have a fuel tank installed in the hopper area with a small area on top for baggage ,including my golf clubs..put some tundra type tires on it.and then tour the usa back country.

oh how i dream....i just wish i had the skills to create this in FSX..be damned with airtractor and their ..no more attitude towards the simulators.

Nice idea Dave. A friend of mine flies an air tractor to deliver fuel to locations off the road system (mines and rural villages). I don't think they have tundra tires on it, but it handles the unimproved strips fine. That model has the big area as extra fuel (what they deliver). Of course crashing that plane with all the fuel would not be fun.
