i just recently asked him in the previous thread if he could do something about the 3d cockpit !! who knows maybe....

Yea, I thought his present Val was pretty nice but like his earlier K-61 he must be doing an upgraded version on this bird.
I was hoping he might get around to a Ki-48 one of these days, but whatever our Picasso of warbirds produces is always appreciated. :applause:

the combination of his KI 61's and George NK1's with Mortons panels and skins is outstanding to say the least.

Just a guess, but I think it might be a D3A2 Val. Note the spinner and (while I can't make it out all that clearly) the shape of the canopy, especially at the rear, makes me think that's what it is.
 
For certain a D3A2 Val, he is filling the void where my project stalled. A missing aircraft and the most produced version of the Val.

It's GOTTA be a D3A2! The cockpit gives it away!

And I do like his original Val... I need to find skins for her... lookin' in de archives nowww...:running:
