ALABEO NEW PROJECT ANNOUNCED - C172RG CUTLASS II for FSX/P3D

An Aztec ! Now that would be something ! Looking at my real world PP logbook, I did many cross country flights in a C-172 RG, my first logged complex aircraft ... I still remember my sore butt and stale chewing gum from a flight I did in 1997 from Atlanta to Mobile, and then to Charleston SC back to KLZU ... Mike

While I feel bad saying it... a lot of posts like this somewhat irk me... Yeah, we'd all prefer other aircraft to be made... but payware or freeware, the developers work hard to do what they do... often, its because they have information on an aircraft... vital to development... access to a real one... really helpful. I hate when people dive in going 'oh great another xyz, I wish they'd do this instead'... Why not learn to model or texture and make your own? if nobody is doing what you want... try yourself? It can't hurt can it?

Nobody has made a 172 cutlass II... I applaud them for doing something new. I'm sure its going to be awesome.

Comments like these can lead to a developer saying 'why do I bother?'... Then you'll be left with nothing.

My initial reaction was why are they putting all their talents into something that has been done already many times for FSX? Then I thought, I don't know the Cutlass so maybe it's significantly different to other 172s. I hope so. Otherwise it seems a strange commercial decision for them to make when there are so many other interesting aircraft which have not been modelled for FSX, which I think would sell well.

Only ever had the 182 rg, the 210, Flight1 did a 177 cardinal... I think it would be nice to see a complex 172... its hardly another rendition of the N is it? I've never seen a free or payware 172RG... so its a new fresh sim aircraft from a familiar cessna stable... something I look forward to.
