Alabeo Waco Released . . .

I'm glade to see a developer excited about another developers work... :salute:

always enjoy your post LH

Thanks DoubleCool.

I am a FS Freak first, and a Developer second. I am a fan of alot of these companies. This plane is amazing and is a work of art. I learn from my neighbors and most of us help each other out. Sort of a united effort.

I don't know if you found it already, but my first paint for this lovely bird can be found on OZx. Hopefully more this weekend..

OK, that does it..........if you're painting it I'm buying it:applause:...no dis-respect to all the other fine re-paints so far intended.

Oh Bernt, Dave here. What could be causing the Waco's nose to hunt about 15 either side? The turn indicator's pretty lively - standard rate to standart rate and the ball's alive in the race.

I do apologise for making you part from your hard earned cash, but you won't regret it, it is a wonderful model.
OK, two more paints then:

That's the first time I read about uncommanded 30deg heading changes. On my systems she's very stable in the yaw axis due to the big fin/rudder. Can't even remotely replicate your problem....
15deg is about the maximum I can achieve with full rudder deflection! Maybe autorudder is enabled?

In retrospect, call it 5 degrees either side of center. Just tried it again and it was fairly docile so am leaning more towards a glitch in my rig. Sure makes a nice stable approach and landing.

random sudden yaw events in FSX are usually caused by one of two things, twisty stick / rudder pedal deterioration (solved by increasing or creating a dead zone for the rudder axis)
or the extremely poor "wind gust" default effect - even 3PD haven't really solved the poor rendition of wind gusts in FSX - I uncheck that thing in FSX settings for my part

Thank you for these, Jankees - I have been hoping you would jump into the Waco and do some magic in the paint booth

these are terrific as usual - do you think you might also make them available in US registry?
