Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Please notice that this is NOT NOT repaint request. This is simply to ask all of you where I can find for my Premier Aircraft Design Twin Otter this Alaskan Airlines Golden Nugget repaint as seen on this hyperlink below, please?

Flying Alaska Airlines 727 N798AS, Anchorage-Cordova-Juneau-Sitka-Ketchikan-Seattle (yes, 5 stops!) I had the opportunity to disembark each time and shoot what was close by. - Photo taken at Juneau - International (JNU / PAJN) in Alaska, USA on July 2, 1972.

This is a PAD Twotter for FSX right? I have the Aerosoft in Prepar3D but if I can find the paintkit for the PAD it doesn't look very difficult and I could do it since I love repainting. Would have tried but there is no paintkit that I found either for it's original FS9 or the FSX versions. I am going to see if maybe it can still be done for you. I have sent out an inquiry and will get back here as soon as I get an answer

After the last couple hours of searching AVSIM and Simviation downloading and extracting, I can't seem to find anything really workable for me to repaint so I'm afraid I've got to bow out of this repaint. Maybe someone has the paintkit that is no longer online and can give this a shot.
 
Thank you I'll try that out. I opened up the model in MDCx last night but that is all I did. I will check out your pdf, thank you. Maybe I can do this yet.

I just downloaded the Development release from Arno and generated a "wireframe" for each bmp. WOW! I never knew about that. I will now have a "paintkit" for the PAD DH6-300 Wheels Twin Otter. Thanks you's to:
First, the Good Lord for giving me the talent
Tako Kichi for the tutorial pdf
Arno for Model Converter X 1.90
The PAD team for the "Twotter"

I am now going to write back to Draw Decal to see if I can get their permission to use their artwork to make this repaint or I will have to create it from scratch which CAN be done now, just a lot more work.
 
The 'create wireframe' feature was only recently added to the MCX development version (it's not in the 'base' version yet) so if you don't follow the updates on FSDeveloper you may never know about new features as they are added. I am glad it's helping you out and that the tutorial proved useful.

I need you to send me the model and texture folder of the Twotter that I am going to repaint for you so I don't waste a lot of time. There are two different models/texture files both for FSX and they are NOT compatible, I just checked.

This package comprises two models of the DHC-6 Twin Otter, a short nose version on skis and a long nose version on tundra tires. Custom panel and VC included with full DHC-6 sound file.

The managements of NOT ONLY the SOH forums but ALSO of the Rikkooo are going to be mad at me if I send the file directly from my pc to you without Rikooo's permission hence me giving you the official hyperlink for the download of the entire Twin Otter model base and its livery. Hope that is okay with you as I do not want to break copyright laws.or otherwise I would get banned from both SOH and Rikoo forums. Smiling

I just downloaded from your link and will check out the model and the texture file in the format they are using. Thankfully, these are the "nice" texture maps and NOT the discombulated French ones so as soon as I can get the artwork I can get started. I will keep you updated here. No work tomorrow on Sunday.
