Alaska Airlines Golden Nugget Livery???

If I can figure out how or else you may get black. I created them yesterday and they looked great on the paintkit but in the model the rear portions are "discombibulated" Trying to find somebody elses textures to show me how to paint the ends of the nacelles. Time will tell. Going to work on them in a little while.

It is NOT problem. If you cannot do gold, then it is NOT problem to use black. I am just happy that you are painting the Alaska Airline Golden Nugget livery on freeware PAD DCH-6 Twin Otter that NOBODY painted before meaning you are going to be first person in history of flight simming to paint that livery.

Once I get determined, I am like the bulldog and won't let go until it's proved to be totally impossible no matter what. I am not bragging, but after six hours of downloading, testing, more etc. I had to tweak the paintkit I had created to match the model with the textures and here it is, almost complete. Still have to create the tail art. I also was able to find a model that will work with Prepar3D V4.5 and probably 5 that did not have the newer French textures so totally different. The type font for "Alaska" wasn't easy to find either. I remember from my days as a printer looking for type fonts to match a client request. I had to do a little tweaking of that as well to get a match.

I discovered in comparing photos online, that this was the first repaint and then later in 1973 the black engine nacelles were created for N100AS and N200AS which I am going to create as well.

I am sorry to hear that you had to spend 6 hours on that repaint. I thought it would be one hour. Please accept my humblest apologies. If I had known it would take you 6 hours, I would not have asked you to paint. Once again, please accept my apologies.

Your latest draft of the repaint looks amazing and thank you for painting gold on engine nacelles. Also zillions of thanks to you for your announcement that you will do two more repaints for the other two registration numbers which would make GREAT ADDITION to all flight simmers who love to fly around Alaska.

Once again, much appreciated for your amazing kindness.

Aharon

Good repaints are never just a few moments I can tell you from 15 years experience and then when you think you know what you're doing, someone asks you to repaint some discombulated paint kit (I mention no names). Anyway, you don't need to apologize. I chose to do it for you. I used to be a professional model maker of ship models. When you are a "pro" you don't get to choose what you want to do. Here I do so again no apologies because I chose to do it for you and I am glad it came out so nice.
