Albacore Re-Paint Contest

Complying with the rules of the finnished textures, but i have not permission to upload :

Drop jaw gorgeous HenryW, it looks like someone went above the bar and made a nice paint kit of their own. truthfully the Paint Kit, at least mine, was bitmap textures and really only good as a template, there is no way to use it as a layered texture kit.

I hope I'm not too late as I'd like to give it a try. I've been on vacation in New Zealand for 3 weeks. I'll need the plane and paint kit,

Yea. But that's about all I've gotten done (making a usable kit) since the company
I paint for (signature) has assigned me something with the usual short fuse.

Due to inclement weather here some time has been lost, this is as far as I have got, I am not the brightest painter anyway.

I will try to improve it in the short time left before upload is required

It seems we are in for some more inclement weather so I am uploading what I have as soon as authorized just in case we lose power etc again, still work needed on panel lines rivets etc which I will plod on with, uploading to keep within the spirit of the comp
 
Due to a death in my family, sorry not me, lol
I am delaying this contest until next weekend. Oct 10th
 
We have just had 1 typhoon passed through the Philippines a couple of days ago another going through today and tomorrow it seems so uploading my unfinished effort, all work was done on FSX but it should work ok on all 3 sims, FSX acceleration cat and arrester settings to follow
 
Well I am back from Vacation and I should have my entry done before the end of the contest. Look for updates next week...

Don't expect mine to be as good as henryW's though :icon_lol:
