Alison Kraus and Union Station

Fired up Photoshop to do some work on a paint template for the Aeronca K and thought it would be a good idea to have some music playing...so I looked through the largish collection of CDs that I amassed during my bachelor days and pulled out Alison Kraus and Union Station's So Long So Wrong CD. I can't stand blue grass as a rule...but Alison and the boys really tear it up in a way that doesn't make me want to make out with my first cousin LOL!

I often forget that Alison has had a long career in blue grass and that she was still a kid when she started her singing career.

I have a DVD of Alison K and U.S., shot live during a concert in Louisville, KY. They are all excellent musicians. Fantastic music. And she's funny. Messes with the guys in the band between songs. Good stuff.
 
Hey All,

AKUS is real good especially when she does bluegrass although the stuff she's done with Brad Paisley and the Chieftans is outstanding as well. Her voice does wear on me after awhile though but not as much in bluegrass.
