I presume it would be a pre-paid phone card .... walk into a store buy one for the amount you want to spend and be done with it :)

We need a prepaid internet card, the one you can hook to your laptop and get an internet connection, I know there are prepaid internet cards, i need to know where to get it, and how it is called.

Hey CK,

She is happy to see his picture with Ickie (you mean Ron, mom!). We know how it is to have no family as well, Hannah is from a broken family and it broke her heart apart when her dad left her when she was four. (I could not say anymore my throat is clogged up!- I need to blow my nose and tissue to see the screen). I have to stop!

We are a happy family, now. Even happier than before! I am her mom and dad, she's a handful, but i enjoy her every second. We enjoy each others company. We do everythong together. She reads SOH, when I am busy, and report to me whats going on. I am planning to get her own membership so I can Have a parental guidance on what she does. (Sometimes, she asks me thing that are off the record and I ask her where she learned it from and she said I read it on SOH-Canelo Cantina. She's off limits there and she knows that!)

She loves to fly FS, X and 9 and XP9, she's more a better player than I am. She's 8 and turning 32!

Ickie is out of surgery

Ron called me a few minutes back and said all went well and he was back in recovery....musta had his cell phone with him...lol. He also said they might be moving him to St.Peters hospital....he has been unable to get on the Internet. Chacha said something about a card....I don't know what she is talking about but said if she could get one and get him on line it would be nice and to take it out of the funds I left her with. We are the only family he has and I know it is killing him not to get in here with his friends...Mike

Chacha, I swear I have only been to the cantina once, by mistake!! The guys need a place to shoot the breeze, boast, brag and bull. Now that we are aware of so many woman being here, maybe you guys should have a "ladies only" area. It's good to have a place to go for a few laughs now and then.

I think that they are not letting him have a link into there WiFi. Darn. If I am correct, I think they mean a phone card. It plugs into the side of the computer and dials out much like a cell phone. Everyone has them, Verizon, AT&T, etc. We could probably get one that is by the hour, and charge it with some funds.

I have one I use for work they work well but most hospital buildings do not have good cell phone reception. The one I work in had to wire the whole building for cell phone reception.

The card cost me $100 with a two year contract. The service cost $65 a month.

Not all service works in all areas. It would take testing a card at the hospital to see if it would work. Also once he moves to St Pete the card may not work there.

Most hospitals do not have public internet access but they may allow a person to use dial up. We provide a phone line to every patient free of charge (no long distance calls) there are many paitents who use those lines for dial up internet.

Did the laptop we purchased have a modem in it?

If it did i would suggest starting with dial up.

The company I use for my old dial up account back home is localnet. They have two numbers in Miami and three numbers in St Pete.

Next thing you'll hear is that he's chasing some nurse down the hall, or actually escaped. Hmmmmm, can you put wheels on a laptop? ;) LOL

I don't know that much about those internet card but if someone could check into it, I really have no problem footing the bill for him. Just get me some prices...he is using a Verizon phone and each time I have talked to him he has come in very clear.
