• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

As is almost always the case, we on the surface see little to nothing of the countless hours that go into maintaining this home we call Sim-Outhouse. It's only when the server is attacked or an upgrade is carried out that we get to see some of what Ickie goes through on a daily basis. If it were just daily upkeep and maintenance, that would be taxing enough, but when the bad guys come calling his work is multiplied a hundred times over.

Ickie, the hundreds of simmers who know you through this house and other forums are with you and wish you a speedy recovery. We would not be able to enjoy what we have were it not for your efforts and we all appreciate that immensely. Get well soon bud.:ernae:
 
Lord we ask in ickies time of need that you guide him in strength and in faith that you will pull him through. We ask that you watch over our friend and help his family through this. We pray that he will be able to read all our thoughts a prayers after his surgery and know that he is appreciated always and not in a time of need. He is the heart behind this site and we hope you can stengthen his heart so it can give him the life he so deserves. I pray these things in you sons name. Amen

May God bless and keep him. My uncle had open heart surgery and I can tell you its no easy thing to deal with. God will keep you Ickie.
