All info on Ickie ( Ron )

To be honest with ya Ron I can't believe they discharge you the next day after that kind of surgery. They normally keep ya there for at least
a week at minimal
Sounds like ObamaCare is already here:angryfir:

Good to have you back, Ickie. Rest and forget the ol' SOH. It'll be here when YOU are ready.

Hi Ickie,

Great you're back home.:applause: Now behave yourself :icon_lol: , do as the doctors say, and take the time  to recover.

Best regards,
Maarten :wavey:

Take a hint from the penguins, and just let the da*ned medical thing run its course, do what they say, get it finished up, and then worry about SOH or anything else. Lots of miles left in your tires.

You should listen to Mariereid. It's good advice, My wife had open heart surgery and she stayed in for a week and a day. It is nothing to fool around with. I'm surprsed that they let you go so soon.
If I ever have it done it would be by the VA Hosptal in Manchester, New Hampshire. They have cracker- jack Doctors with all the modern equipment.
Take it easy guy.

Ickie, glad to hear all went well. Just take it easy and heal up. IMO they discharge folks too early these days from major surgery.....

Had a 20 minute talk with Ron last night and he seems to be doing fine, just going through after surgery dull drums. He just needs to relax and recover.

Ickie, i am very glad you are home, but pls pls pls take it very slow. Imagine everything needs to be done in slow motion including re connecting to the larger world. I am in recoery myself, had operations, (2) early July and was in rehab for 17 days. now home but still moving very slow, and wondering at times, should i do more? answer..... NOT YET> so please dont push. And if you are having fibrulations or heart events, pls call your docs and get re admitted and undergo the convalescence under care.... we are very glad to hear from you..but what i want to hear is that you are being a patient patient :) hugs and so glad to hear from you.

today I finally left my home, I went to walmart shopping. I never relized just how big wally world was before.
I had a walmart staff person come to me and helped me finish shopping, it must have shown by my baby steps. It took 2 hours to go around the store, I am wore out now that I am home.

I know it feels good to get outta the house Ron... BUT you gotta rest to recover. Takes time after an ordeal like that but it will come. Get a neighbor to give ya a hand.... some sweet thing will do just fine. ;)

wow Ickie, you are waaay ahead of me i am still housebound. but do take it slow, pls. baby steps :) glad you are doing well.:medals:

Glad you are back home, Ickie
Now you rest, rest and rest
We are not in a hurry to see you back among us: when you feel strong SOH (and all of us) will be ready for you
Italo

Oh MAN!!! A week or so away from the site and look what happens!!! Ickie, you take the BEST care of yourself. I've had heart issues myself these last years, and at one point was nearly on the transplant list, but I did get better. You're in for some changes; I won't pretend otherwise, but things DO get better. You' re going to especially need to watch your diet, and most especially your stress level. I also recommend playing your guitars every day. That kept me from becoming a shrieking mass. Please PLEASE stay well.

JAMES
