today i completed my tour of japan. every single airport in the entire country, to get the visit/rewards.
as you can see, i took a few breaks here and there to break up the monotony, but now i have to pick another country.

Well done....I have a habit of collecting countries and states too. I have posted a few of my 'tours' before if you are interested.

i'm definitely interested. by all means please post :applause:

I did a tour back in 2004, but didn't come close to hitting every airport: http://virgil.org/dswo/fs/japantour/

very cool! some of the aspects of your tour i also did.

i switched planes according to the distance of the flight, and the size of the runway where i was taking off/landing. just not in the middle of the flight. i used the kodiak and the victory more than anything else, but i did use every plane in my hangar (including helos) except no heavies. the biggest jet i used was the crj, and that was only once. because i did my "flag quest" in a casual manner, i went through the list of airports alphabetically. that's how i kept myself from missing any. it means i've criss-crossed japan a gazillion times but i'm ok with that. i noticed that there isn't a single water runway in fsx's version of japan. i doubt that's the case in r/l. i've done a few other countries than what's shown. all of them small little countries and islands.
i may do some states next, or i might do china. there are still a bunch of islands i haven't tried. i love collecting flags though.
