Almirola out at RPM after Smithfield exit

And the silly season continues. More trouble for Richard Petty Motorsports. I think it's a troubled organization and I wonder just how much longer it will be around.
 
What ever happened to 'Sponsor Contracts'?
It just seems odd where I come from that sponsors can just pull the plug part way through a season.
