Alpha sim Mavis in FsX

Roger

Senior Administrator
Thought I'd try it with the great new Chi-chi Jima and Iwo Jima sceneries. Well it ports quite well and no problems encountered with water take-offs and landings but all the gauges are Fs98. Has anyone done an FsX compatible vc panel for the Mavis?

That's a great aircraft, Roger, and I'd also be glad to see a FSX-VC for it. I hated to sink and burn it as static model for the ChiChi scenario :)

I guess there being no thumbnail for it that explains no profile picture, but when I select the blank thumbnail it won't load and my FSX crashed and I have to reopen FSX.

Was it mean to fly (sorta) like ROGER did in FSX or is this just an AI with no flying functions in FSX?

EDIT: I get a "visual model cannot be displayed" then a button below "close" and that's pretty much our show no FSX.

It is the Alpha sim model for 2004 and may have been updated by Alphasim from the original that was made for Fs2002. That would be a reason why it ctds.

FSX Kawanishi H6K Mavis Update. This is an update for FSX Acceleration of the H6K Mavis by Kazunori Ito. The author has updated the flight dynamics, changed the spray effect and fixed the panel by Jim Welch (H6KMAVPN.ZIP) so it works in FSX. You need the original aircraft for this update to work (H6KMAVIS.ZIP). By Bob Chicilo.

mavis post

That's odd, I previously posted this on this link:

Your links take me to a page where I don't see the file or can view the files.

Something weird with the link I posted ... try searching flightSim library for file: h6kupxa.zip

This will get you Ito's FSX updated Mavis.
