That's not entirely true. . .the Cloud9 Phantom is probably the best and it's still available.Yes it was very sad as many of the models were the only decent Phantoms for FS9. . . . .

Dave, you're now being cruel to the man, please stop it!!
At least Alpha gave us most of the variations (except for the S), despite the usual really dumb weapon configurations ...................

That will not be an issue when Mark remakes them. They will most likely use the same system of having all external loads available for all models as he did with the Mirage III/5 series (except those not historically correct -- I'll push hard on that). Or he could just give them all wings tanks and inner pylons and be done with it -- that's certainly historically accurate. Not very interesting though. Along side the Mirage, the F-4 is my favorite so I'll make all 40 years of research materials I have available to help get it right.Yes Alpha really do need to read up on this issue as it keeps springing up, the RAF Phantoms were horrible from that point with very strange loadouts that I never saw back in the day, plus the roundals were horribly oversized and research into the paint schemes seemed to be minimal so had to be corrected. I would still recommend the Iris version as it has multible (and realistic) loadouts, and many re-paints available too. Sorry to bitch about the Alpha Phantom, but it was payware and not cheap either when I bought it, so I (quite rightly IMHO) expect the best job possible with minimal mistakes. A little research goes a long way!
