Alphasim He-162 Salamander tweak package

Thanks to some of the helpful SOH members here in the FS9 forum and over in the CFS2 forum, I was able to find the correct squadron shield thingie to complete the first skin for the He-162. I revamped the panel lines to reflect the wooden construction of the Salamander...the original skins had it that way, but I jazzed them up in the development of my paint template to look more like aluminum panels....thanks to Willy, I know know the Salamander was constructed of plywood. I have made a number attempts to weather and scuff up the skin...but my weathering and scuffing skills Es Ewe Sea Kay to put it mildly. Weathering is an art form...and you either have the knack for it or you don't. I don't in a big way!

I have a second skin done. Yellow 4. No idea what squadron it was used in...the skin is based on a profile art image I found on line. I actually have no idea if it depicts a historically correct plane or not...and really, I don't care. That bold yellow 4 on the side of the green and gray aircraft just looks darn pretty.

Looking good Tim. Remember that the He 162 was only in service for a few months before the war's end, so it didn't have much time to get weathered.
