Alphasim Martin Mars prop animation issue?

tommieboy

SOH-CM-2025
I'm running FSX Acceleration

These are the first two lines from my aircraft.cfg file.

// FSX initial version
// 8th September 2007

I have an issue with the prop animation being a bit jerky; seems like the prop animation is hard coded into the model itself. Had the same issue with this aircraft with the previous SP2 patch too. Can someone else with this aircraft please check this out for me.

Thanks,

Tommy

Tommy,
props on that plane look weird...swap the prop bmps with the dds file from the C-124. looks a lot better.

needs better sounds as well.

I loaded up the C-124 and the prop textures are barely noticeable in Acceleration. No fears though, as I modified the one that came with the Martin Mars and created a "solid" disk so that the jerky prop animation is not noticeable. Not the best solution, but I'm hoping it's just temporary. I sent in a "ticket" to Virtavia to see what they have to say, as I just noticed that the Martin Mars has been relabeled with the Virtavia label. So, there may be some hope of getting this issue resolved.
