Alternative prop textures for Oglivie's P-61 update!!

I just uploaded alternative 4-blade prop disc textures for FDG2's Northrop P-61 Black Widow, recently updated by Oglivie.

You can choose a plain blade texture or an Hamilton Standard blade texture. The latter needs a small tweak of the P-61 textures, in order to have the emblem showing up on the blade.
I enclosed instructions for a very easy copy-n'-paste, using Martin Wright's DXTBmp utility.

Oglivie... expect a dl wud be appreciated by more than a few.
Although,,,,it was pretty straight forward once I broke down and read K's directions.

You got the Hamiltons installed just fine.

I don't mind getting a package together for dl, but if not needed..well..will have to get a few members to post difficulties with the install...or that they would just like them already pre-installed in some bmps for dl..I think.

Hamilton blades....

Hello Everyone,

I've been workin on a model that has demirrored prop blades and prop spin that will work rather nicely with Kelti's excellent prop textures. The Hamilton emblems will only be on the front of the props (like the real ones) and be pre-installed in the new P-61 bmps. I think the lettering on the inner part of the blade in my P-61 bmp may have to be moved outward a bit more though. :typing:

Hi Oglivie,

are you talking about the stencils painted on the root of the blade?

If you do that, let me know, since I'll have to move inward the coloured trace they leave on the prop disc.
You can send me your modified blade texture and PM me your e-mail addy so that I can send you the new prop disc.

If you want to include my prop texture in your future repaints, go straight ahead without asking for my permission.
