Am down on Sanibel Island with my sister.....

My sister drove down from Indianapolis last Thursday. We left for Sanibel Island the next day. She has a place here, and we'll be here until Sept. 7th. I brought my rottweiler with me, and until now, he'd never seen a beach. He's loving it! I don't take him there except the early morning, or late evening. Same thing for me, for that matter! Anyway, on the way back home, I plan on stopping at Don Garlits Racing Museum at Ocala, and taking pictures of the A-7 Corsair II on display there; plus a stop for pictures at the Cannon Air Park just north of there, as they have a Corsair II on display too!

Sanibel! I used to go there when there was NOTHING there. Best place in the world to go seashell hunting! Have a great time, Chief.

Have fun Chief! I go with the family to the Ft Myers every couple of years. It's a great place to relax on the beach...as opposed to the east coast of FL.

I agree. Spent nine years, assigned to squadrons at NAS Cecil Field. On the rare occasion that I would drive to the beach at Mayport, I never enjoyed it as much as beaches at Pensacola. Sanibel is quite peaceful.

I lived on the East Coast (Hollywood) for 18 years. I hated it. The West Coast is soooooooo different.

The big rottweiler is my dog, "Chief", and the little dog is a Golden Doodle (mix of Golden Retriever and a Poodle), and her name is "Bella". Bella is my sister's dog.

I love dogs, My favorite is Junior. He chases cats and drives a lot. He is not my dog, someone else. I did have a dog his name is Midnight. He is a Pomeraniean, he is black and tiny. He doesn't live with us anymore. My Dad has huge dogs. I forgot their names. My cousin has a dog Star is her name she loves to walk with me. She gets excited when I come. Bella looks so cute she looks like my little pet Gypsy. And Chief looks so cute and fat. I love the beach a lot we will go to Cocoa Beach soon. We have a hotel room near the beach. I will post some good pictures if my Mom will say ok. Bye, I have to get ready for bed.
