For those that missed it, the services at Fort Hood just took place.

An Army soldier sang the most beautiful version of Amazing Grace.

The President spoke an incredible speach. He talked of each soldier, personal things about each person.

It was a good service.

May the souls of the fallen rest in peace, may their families endure this trying time, and may this make America very.. very.. very strong. Not mean... Strong...

Even though I'm not a soldier or veteran, I am a teacher and a historian, and have a tremendous respect for all members of our Armed Forces, past and present. Listening to Amazing Grace, hearing the roll call and the playing of 'Taps' brought tears to me eyes. :USA-flag:
