An early Ki-43!

Yippee - I've only ever seen an early Ki 43 in the metal.....the one that used to be at Wanaka and "taxied" down the strip 3 ms in the air.......

I was right! This will come in right handy for pre- 1943!

Is this the Ki-43-I with the two-bladed prop? I have illustrations in Donald Thorpe's JAAF book of this plane used in 1944-45 for Home Defense against B-29s.

Scroll down to the black and white line-drawing of the A6M3-B Zero, grey-white camo with black-green squiggles, this was done on the field with rags dipped in dark green paint. This is an A6M3 Model 22 of the 251st Kokutai, note something I hope one of you guys come out with for the 1941-42 South Pacific Zeros: A no antenna mast modification, according to Saburo Sakai, the humidity rotted the radio chassis and shorted out the vacuum tubes. Anyone know of an A6M5 Model 52a for CFS2? The -52c got all the glory, the -52a formed the backbone of the night-fighter Zeros in the Philippines and Lt. Seki, the first recognized dedicated kamikaze for the JNAF flew a -52a on his first(and last) mission.

Akemi is excellent, he only lacks one thing: Damage to his planes. I like smoke, spurting oil, shredded flaps and bullet holes as the stock AC have.

I'll say in passing, I love the FDG Donationware P-40E just released. I found a skin for a "captured Japanese" for this plane over on Simnetwork.

BANZAI!!!

I may have to eventually incorporate that into DEI. Great work, Akemi! :ernae:

Cowboy,

Um. Yes....it's one of the two primary Dutch DEI fighters. (The 339 version) The FDG2 P-36 is the other one.

I found this Tony;

Mitsubishi A6M5(a) Reisen 221-18

http://www.flightsim.com/newfiles/cfs2/cfs2160.htm

Hope that was what you may be looking for however this is a captured aircraft with US skin, BUT it is a repaint of Scott Johnson's OH stock zero which I can not seem to locate for you.

Thank you, I'm downloading it, I like the skin. The stock Zero however is the 52c, two guns in each wing, I'm looking for mod of the stock Zero with the outer two machine guns removed. I do like tht skin and because you searched for it I'm going to download it and do my thing to it.

Thank you

I have that mod SC, thank you. I've counted at least ten versions of the Tojo, the Tony, and the Oscar, I would think someone would have explored the Zero a little closer. I do have two cool skins: Combat operational trainer for the A6M2 and the A6M5 stock Zeros, green on top and orange on the bottom. I wish I knew how to modify these planes: I'd do A6M2s and 3s with the antenna mast shaved and cruder green camo over the gray-white.

Akemi has a version of his a6m2 without a radio & his a6m3 m22 also is radioless.

I do too much at once.

I'd never flown the stock 52 Zeke before a week ago and had read back in Oct. someone in another forum saying the stock A6M5 was a 52c. My blunder, ther stock 52 is a 52a. Sorry if I engendered any confusion.
