An idea for a new plane

Has anyone thought about the SU-33UB?

Yeah.. the Alphasim Su-27 version of the "Flanker" is still payware and it comes with several models including an Su-37 "Terminator". I have it and it's definately a fun plane to do backflips in. They also had the Su-33 Naval version, but I don't think it's available any more. It came with a Russian aircraft carrier scenery package. The Su-33 is a single seat plane, like the Su-27 I believe.

Well Blackbird, I am downloading the plane from the link Stefan posted.

This particular plane posted is the trainer version of the Su-33 (hence the UB).

I think Alphasim's SU-33 only came with the Admiral Kusnetsov carrier. Don't think Virtavia is selling it; another fortunate pick up before Alphasim reorganized.

I believe the airplane you're showing isn't the Su-33UB, it's either the Su-27KUB or the Su-30KUB.

That is the SU-27K as far as I know the same aircraft as the SU-33 just redeveloped for the Sovjet/Russian Navy.
There also is a Alphasim version, not sure if it is still pay ware or not.

Cheers
Stefan

IIRC both the Flanker and Kuznetzov were modelled by Mark Harper, who retained the rights to his models when Alphasim
reorganized, you can find his page here ------> http://mark-harper.co.uk/
although only working for the 'X' side now it seems.
