There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The "gentle wing swallow" could be modified by tuning a little the roll movement, I presume; I note for the next release.
Observed it again in another flight with the floats retracted. This is all while the aircraft is using the Autopilot on NAV or HDG. (AP works very well). Close look at the ailerons shows they are moving slowly up & down as they correct for starting to roll one way, then the correction brings the aircraft rolling gently back the other way, but beyond wings level, so there is a slow cycle of roll/correction going on. Interested if anyone else is experiencing this in MSFS2024. If not then it could mean my joystick ailerons trims are 'off'
Non, behaviour is only present when using the AP.First, when you quote a post, don't include your answer in this "quote", otherwise the reading becomes quite difficult
With your second post, I begin to understand better what you have in mind. With Hollister56, we have worked a lot on the AP behavior and we have noted this oscillatory behavior that we had attributed to the parameters of the AP. We tried to limit it as much as possible because I am not an autopilot specialist (sorry, I practically never fly with this function).
To be carefully reread your first post, it seems that this behavior is present even without using the AP? Did I understand correctly?
It may not necessarily be unique to the PBY5A, (by which I mean it may be an MSFS2024 AP issue)In this case, it is neither more nor less than the issue that Hollister56 and I diagnosed last week and on which we worked to find a solution. The current version is what we have managed to do better on this subject

I have seen this on several occassions. It basically S-Turns about 4 degrees left and right of the course centerline.It may not necessarily be unique to the PBY5A, (by which I mean it may be an MSFS2024 AP issue)
Found this in the MSFS2024 forum:
I tested 16;20;40. I think better.@Twice43,

@ftl818,
The different stages of the propeller have been tuned by me and I have developed my own XML code ... but i never find the time to tune in detail the various propeller speeds (FVFR_Templates.xml: still propeller, slow propeller, blurred propeller ).
The aim of theses modifications was to have the possibility to start very slowly (during the energizer phase) and permit to the pilot to count "9 blades" before switching to the "start phase" ... I have to tune the parameters to obtain this effect; I note also for the next release.
