An other C-47 in the paintshop

Looks pretty close to me Huub! :applause:

Maybe this could help with any further improvement (If deemed necessary?):

If you´re looking for perfection huub, there´s a little black rectangle just before the "M" of "Martin´s" that is not in the repaint "yet" :engel016:

:icon_lol: Well my final attempt....... how difficult can a striped tail be:isadizzy: ? Thanks for the picture Ferry, it did help indeed.

Now I only have to convince Manfred that he should make a model with the observation dome removed and an extra window added :icon_lol:

I will update PH-MAG (not before tomorrow) as well and re-upload for those who want to have this version.

Cheers,
Huub

That's very good Huub. I notice I have to constantly remind myself which is real and which the copy.

What C-47 is that? It must be payware. Hope this is not a stupid question.

There are no stupid questions. This C-47 is a must! And there are many very interesting repaints available for it. It makes use of the default DC-3 VC, but the external model is perfect.

And now this one is finished I will start another repaint from a Dutch C-47 from history.

Cheers,
Huub

Some very early "work in progress" pictures, from what I think is one of the most sophisticated liveries ever used by a Dutch airline.

I think it look a bit like a luxurious train wagon.

Do you know the airline? It does not longer exist as it was sold to a Canadian company in 2005.

Cheers,
Huub

Huub,

sometimes only the livery makes the difference - ik ben een Duitser met een Schots hart :kilroy:

Looks red to me?..

The logo is a well kept secret. All photographs are made from quite a distance and don't show any detail. I finally found the logo on a picture from a schreiner sugar bag, however not in full colour.

I have tried "gold" and red. Red simply looks better. When you say its red, I will just go for red :icon_lol:.

Mike, you sound like a real European, a German with a Scottish heart, who writes Dutch.

Cheers,
Huub

That's the reason I feel comfortable here in the Outhouse :icon_lol:

This very nice livery will be my first Dutch DC3 to fly the NL2000 scenery.

Mike

Well it is nearly finished. It has been on my "to do" list for quite a while.

Cheers,
Huub

Question

Does anybody know where I can find the part which is texturing these? (And there is one at the other side as well....)

Thanks,
Huub

The "Schneider Airways" repaint has been uploaded to the usual places. The Martinair repaint here in the library at the Outhouse has been updated.

Enjoy.
Huub
