Ok, not ancient but how many of you were in the Air Force when this video came out?

Not me... I was in the Navy then.

I did like what they did with Capt Stone's name on the side of the aircraft. :d
 
I wasn't in then, but I can tell you this....
I do remember reading about the comparisons between the F-15 and F-4 and how the F-15 pretty much blew the doors off the F-4....

Great video.

Ive always loved the 15's. They used to have a squadron of them here at Luke AFB. They ended up getting moved to the South East.
 
I can identify with his description of watching the world drop away. I remember that well. It always reminded me of movies of moon rockets taking off. I never grew tired of the view.

I loved it when you got the call from control, " Battle 21, you are cleared for unlimited climb."
