Allan Moffat, the crowd's choice for the 'Bad Guy' tag, and his remarkable Trans Am 302 Mustang, originally a 1969 (IIRC) Bud Moore factory car.
The great unwashed in the mob probably thought his Canadian accent was 'American' and that was good enough reason to make 'Marvin' the 'Black Hat'.
He was a bloody good driver just the same.

Kevin Bartlett aka 'Big Rev Kev', thoroughly nice man and a driver who could race anything and win.
Gold Star Champion, Tasman Cup winner,Bathurst Winner, high scorer in Touring Cars, even managed to stick a Camaro on pole at Bathurst one year.
The 911RS sneaked in as a 'Touring Car' through a loophole in the CAMS regulations.

Some 500M further down from this point the circuit looped back in a very long and fast U-Turn and ran back on the other side of the concrete wall, parallel with the front section.
