Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

And a few more!

Hume Weir was a very unusual circuit up on the Murray River, sadly long gone, but one that had loads of character and plenty of good racing.

Stormin' Norman Beechy and his 350 Holden Monaro GTS, lots of grunt and not much stopping power. The crowd loved him.

Allan Moffat, the crowd's choice for the 'Bad Guy' tag, and his remarkable Trans Am 302 Mustang, originally a 1969 (IIRC) Bud Moore factory car.
The great unwashed in the mob probably thought his Canadian accent was 'American' and that was good enough reason to make 'Marvin' the 'Black Hat'.
He was a bloody good driver just the same.

Kevin Bartlett aka 'Big Rev Kev', thoroughly nice man and a driver who could race anything and win.
Gold Star Champion, Tasman Cup winner,Bathurst Winner, high scorer in Touring Cars, even managed to stick a Camaro on pole at Bathurst one year.
The 911RS sneaked in as a 'Touring Car' through a loophole in the CAMS regulations.

Some 500M further down from this point the circuit looped back in a very long and fast U-Turn and ran back on the other side of the concrete wall, parallel with the front section.
Very interesting ..................:icon_eek:
