Maiden Flight

I watched a few take off from Boeing Field (near Seattle) last year on test flights when several of the Outhouse gang met at the Boeing Museum there. It's a graceful looking aircraft and seems to be pretty quiet too.

Did you notice that one of the bidders for the six seats auctioned off won by putting an extra "0" on his bid? Instead of $3,400, he paid $34,000. Ouch!
 
I remember watching the first flight live on CNN and getting goosebumps...

It is an absolutely beautiful aircraft. I am grateful to have seen her fly at Airventure this year.
