still gotta weather it, add more detail, then move onto the wings and finally the schemes... and yes...i will be releasing the paintkit once done :salute:

That is great news Matt!
One of my all time favourites in fs9.
It's only when you stand next to a real Hawk that you notice the Iris/DSB version to be an average 'lookalike'.
Really looking forward to this!

Cheers, :icon29::icon29::icon29:

yeah, i'm also gonna try and get some new flight dynamics worked, simple stuff, she's great as she is but i'm gonna be re-calculating wing surface areas and looking at the size of the flight control surfaces... might also get inside the girl and re-texture in there too...:salute:

Christmas pint's on me, Stuart! :wavey::icon29:

Cheers Nigel, well appreciated!

Have been extremely busy lately in a new 'proper' job.
FS9 and the SOH site have been seriously neglected by me. (Slap on wrist!).
Great to catch up though, and gaze in amazement at the progress on the upcoming projects :applause:

Looks like it's going to be a great 2012!

Cheers,

Stuart

stuart: It really is great to see you around again. Real life obligations get top priority mate, congratulations on the new job. :icon29:

Now, where did I put those Napier Sabre recordings?...

Matt: Glad to see you're busy again. Enjoy what you do best.

I'm looking forward to this one! :guinness:

latest peek, in-sim now, just canopy to refine.... seen here landing at Default Fairford (on my list to re-contruct) :icon_lol:

Ooooh,

yes please!! Cracking job there Matt. More to follow, or even the paintkit? We really need a painkit section in the dowloads, d'ya not think so?

Jamie

I either have or am working on 3D light configs for the Hawk family. I can give you those is interested.

I'll second that Jamie.
Hey, great to see you around the 'House' old mate, hope you overcame your pc problems and are operational once again!
I missed ya!

Matt's done a great job on this one.

once i've got a batch through the pipeline yeah i'll be releasing a paintkit, also going to give the same treatment to the Export variants and the 128/LIFT family and the 200, take them back to scratch and re-do...

as to panel, fantastic idea there VaporZ... i might not tweak it, even though i use a 16:9 screen... if you do those well.... we've more or less got the Hawks 'modernised' :salute:

Matt's done a great job on this one.

He always does, no doubting that, never lets us down.

I've been lurking in the shadows, quietly hammering away at returning my PC to normal, FS or otherwise. Strangely enough all was going well until Golden wings failed to load, My other three installs still launch (FS9 modern, FS9 test and WWI), all are pretty barren at the moment, stock scenery and planes, etc, but was getting there until my GW3 hiccup.

Always loitering,
Jamie

ok just a quick reply as work continues...

the prototype hawk schemes are now done (well the first prototype anyways) and the USN Evaluation aircraft (First scheme) is well underway, just right side, fin and a few more decals to place....

Matt, have you done those serials in black? They should actually be dark blue, same colour as the roundels.

after liasing with Andy some more, here is G-HAWK the USN Evaluator in it's initial scheme (seen here with Paris Air Show number on nose, 2 flavors, with and without number in final pack)

another straight from my paintshop, this now brings schemes done to; Prototype, Prototype 2nd Livery, USN eval, USN Eval with Paris Number, USN Eval 1981 and now.... XX156.... the 2nd prototype.... seen in the image....
