Andrew Wommack on Praying; How To

Hey all,

I have noticed that many of us are heavy into praying and thought I would give you a heads up on a cool series on TV that you can download free that is on prayer and praying. This is a short series on the subject, similar to a seminar, and brings about primary scriptural teachings. The person doing the teaching is Andrew Wommack, an amazing teacher of the scripture.

The best one I have heard on this is the Feb 19th episode or show.

You can download both regular and Apple versions of his programs (TV and Radio). This particular teaching is on his TV series, which are shows lasting just under 30 min's each. If you have iTunes, you can select and download his TV series shows by date and watch them in the built in iTunes video player, or you can watch them in WMV format as well. (I think its WMV, which ever video format that Windows uses).

His website is at [COLOR="blue"]www.awmi.net[/COLOR] (Andrew Wommack Ministries). Just go to the TV broadcasts section and select there. For iTunes users, just go to iTunes and search for Andrew Wommack. You will want his TV series, especially Feb 19th.

Some interesting points of prayer discussed, such as God wants you better and in good health, not suffering. This guy has prayed over people and they are healed right there. Two people were blind and after 30 min's of power prayer, they could see again. One had parts regrow in his eyeballs in that 30 min's, (pupils and retinae were removed surgically years before on the one guy).


This is a heads up for people that are into prayer and healing. This isnt a debate on religion.

Yep, he is interesting.

You know, I want to say that the Feb 18th show is even better. It talks on the Believers Authority. I recommend it highly.

I get these auto-downloaded via subscription through iTunes. Sometimes I have to catch up and watch some. His Believers Authority really changed my life.

I prefer my own method I have learned, over any philisphical man directed method. I got all my instructions straight from the human soul handbook. Those instructions are good enough for me.

I mean afterall, if they worked for the S.O.G. and all his apostles after him, then they should be good enough for me.

Umm.. Lionheart, I won't begrudge your faith/religion (whatever makes ya happy, etc,etc), but you really think this guy can get people physically healed? Regrow removed body parts? In eras past this was called "snake oil" I can see someone deciding to do good, and becoming a doctor or vet, to help the sick. But waving the hands around? "These aren't the droids you're looking for"

I think Andrew Wommack did NOT heal the sick.... He did NOT regrow body parts either....

He prayed for the sick and they recovered.... Between the praying and the recovery (healing) is a process that happens that requires FAITH...

This issue is really complicated, it will take one Faith to really understand the Believer's Authority....

And I think this is not the place to discuss that one....

...But it is a GREAT eye opener.... to those who believe....
 
I am of the type... FAITH is the bases for everything..

I read and write the greek text, and learned it because I wanted to Know the WORD with out any translation.. Or possible input other then what Our 1st "Christian" believers had..

Everyone in this world Has a God Given right to Have whatever beliefs they choose..
OUR LORD gave us free will to Make our own desisions..
If I agree or not isn't what matters, what Matters is we all have the right to Believe as we wish..

I would prefer all to Come to Christ , But I am not going to demand all to do this..

If all would gain for following this person or that persons teachings, is not my concern.
My concern is to remain Faithful.. and to whenever possible to share my Love Of Our Lord.
But it is not my Place, to judge anothers Faith or standing in God.

Yes, God can and does heal, Yes God can and will use us humans to do so as He (OUR LORD ) Pleases..
And I never will FORCE any Of My beliefs on to anyone..
If you want to speak of these things I would be happy to share..

But a forum at SOH is perhaps Not the place..

I do Hope all that share my Love of Christ can understand that We are called to share our Lords Love in our lives.

And in doing so that can be the Greatest example of God's Love for all of us without need to be convinced By any single minister or Dogma..

Each of you In Christ can do as Much or More as Anyone to Help Our Lord to be made known..

So before we dive into a pit here over any of this..
Just Show the Love you have recieved from Our Lord with others and wonderous things can and will happen..

There are some cool aspects he brings up on prayer.
