Okay, with all this chatter on modern jets I started to look around for a angledeck birdfarm, and scenery, to start a new Vietnam install. Anyone know of any? With all the past hacking some of the sites that I thought had them are now kaput. Some planes I know would fly from the Essex carriers with the catapault, but am interested if anyone knew of some Forrestal or Independence class farms.

Thank you, kind sir!:salute: I had completely forgotten that the VN had did some angledecks. I was unable to get to it using the link you gave (Internet error! Good old MS), but I did find a USS Coral Sea (updated), is that the same file, and two other angledeck conversions.

There is also an angle deck USS Midway - #49 on the VN pages ( VN_USS_Midway.zip )
An axial deck USS FDR - #51 on the VN pages ( VN_USS_FDR.zip )

While looking I did find some "Independence" class coops, but they were for FSX. Have to look for more. As to the "Stennis" I found that one and one other that was converted from FS2004. Will have to check that one out. Bit wary as it came from a strange site with a self seeking installer. A no no in my book.
Also found a old reference at a Simviation forum that the Virtual Navy had did some updated "KittyHawk" and "Oriskany" among others. Know where they are found? Not here as these are the older VN ships. Do they have a new site?

Ande let's not forget the USS John C. Stennis by Javier Fernandez. Yeah, I know it's not a true Vietnam era carrier but it can be if you use a little artistic licence. Would really be cool to have a USS Enterprise for those Yankee Station Yacht Club sorties.
