Annoying effect on water

I have a problem with float planes that "hop" when sitting still on water. They all seem to do it. When parked on the flight deck of the Nimitz, the whole ship "hops" when in all stop mode. It's like a hiccup! :isadizzy: When sitting in the water in my Beaver near Sitka the other night, each "hop" was recorded as a "landing" in my logbook! Weird!

Does anyone else experience this phenomenon? Is there a fix for it? Any help would be appreciated...

I think planes do this while on the terra firma ground in some situations, too. Seems to happen when I'm using a more heavy fps plane, or in dense scenery, but very infrequently so it doesnt annoy me too much. I've never heard of a fix...

LOL - Hi Cactus,

Same thing happens to me, only when I'm in the Cockpit, everything is good, then when I jump out and try to get back in, all hell breaks loose and I find miself jumping through the deck and into the water, very strange indeed.

So I usually either stay in the pit or fly in follow mode.

I have a 9800 GT, but it also did this using my 8800 gts,

Cheers !!

That's Beavers for you - and "log" books (phew - did clean Beaver joke!)
